Overhand Knot
1. Form a loop with the working cord.
2. Pass the tail through the loop. |

Overhand Knot Twice
1. Form an overhand knot and tighten (see above).
2. Loop the cord's tail around the knot formed in Step 1, then pass the tail through the loop.

3. Pull on the tail to tighten, keeping the second knot positioned on top of the first one rather than beside it. |

Slip Knot
1. Thread the tail through an eye and loop it over, then under, the working cord.

2. Pass the tail through the loop to tie an overhand knot around the working cord.

3. Pull on the tail to tighten, then pull on the working cord while pushing the knot snug against the eye. |
